The Weekend Warrior Kit is your all-in-one solution for off-grid power, now featuring upgraded solar panels and larger energy storage. Whether you’re outfitting a solar-powered van or energising your off-grid cabin, this kit has everything you need to start your journey toward energy independence—no hunting for additional components required.

This kit includes a standalone inverter with a standard 3-pin plug, a charge controller, and upgraded storage capacity (Lithium Available) to meet your needs. For generator input, a compatible battery charger (not included) can be easily integrated.

We are super happy with the weekend warrior kit, we initially were going to purchase bits ourself to put one together then we realised that it is not simple by any means. It has provided us with more than enough power for our current set up. Our kit runs a small bar fridge, indoor and outdoor lights, small devices charging, and a bathroom fan (not sure how much use the fan actually gets). It is set up on our glamping hut accommodation, I check daily the usage and the batteries are always sitting at 100%. So happy to have an extremely reliable set up which gives our guests power throughout the numerous power cuts we get.

In the past we had been very unsure as to what was actually required for our specific off grid experiences, and were concerned we would either under or over commit. The GridFree website provided us with all the information we needed to make a confident decision. Absolutely thrilled with our experience after having installed a different system previously from another company which was costly and complicated in comparison. Solar Panel Upgrades:
To add panels separate charge controllers are required as well as panels. There is no hard limit on this type of upgrade.
