The Kea Solar Nest | All-In-One Cabinet Off-Grid Solar System [Arriving early December]


GridFree's Kea Solar Nest Cabinet is a complete, all-in-one solution for off-grid applications. This pre-built, IP54-rated cabinet is ideal for baches, tiny homes, and lifestyle properties without access to grid power, offering a faster, easier, and more cost-effective installation. Designed for durability, it is easy to relocate and built to withstand environmental conditions. Powered by the TBB Renewable.

These standalone systems are factory-assembled, internally prewired, and include all essential components except for installation-specific elements. This significantly reduces installation time and complexity. The system integrates an inverter charger with an MPPT solar charge controller, lithium battery modules, E4 monitoring, and AC/DC/PV power distribution in one unit. Electrician required for installation.

Includes everything you need to get up and running.

On top of the main components our packages include all the solar cables, battery cables, solar mounts, DC breakers and isolators that you need for our gear.

We do not supply anything that is installation specific such as AC cabling, conduit, earthing cable etc. So please get in touch if you had any questions about package contents.

The KEA SolarNest :

Lithium Battery Upgrades:
This type of lithium battery is highly expandable (up to 160 batteries) but consideration must be made for racking and correct cabling.
Battery upgrades should be done within 6 months of purchasing to avoid significant age differences. Warranties are affected if upgrading outside this range.

Solar Panel Upgrades:
We recommend a maximum of 24 panels on this controller. For further expansion, additional controllers can be wired in parallel.
This controller has 2 MPPT inputs. This is great for expandability as both arrays are completely independent so they can be of different size, facing or panel type to each other.
