Gene's Home in Gisborne - Freedom Kit

Gene is running the Freedom Kit at his family home in Gisborne. After a 6 year journey, construction on the house was finished earlier this year, and he, his wife Chelsea, their two daughters, and a new puppy are now enjoying life fully off-grid!

We checked in on Tom earlier this year and had a quick chat about how he's finding off-grid life so far! He's running the Bach Kit on his tiny house with his wife.

Jane's Freedom Kit in Whangerei

We are really pleased with the setup so far. We got the lead carbon batteries and so far have not discharged below 70% with them generally 90 - 100% charged. We installed our system over lockdown and were impressed that GridFree was always available to answer questions and sort out some parts that were wrong.

An Update from Orca Bus - One Year On

Massive water storage and 10kw of solar/battery capacity using our Freedom Kit. The super-resilient owners Elias and María have also begun planting a huge orchard of fruit trees around the site.
