Sonya is using a Weekend Warrior Kit to power Hawkdun Hut in Central Otago.
"We are super happy with the weekend warrior kit, we initially were going to purchase bits ourself to put one together then we realised that it is not simple by any means. It has provided us with more than enough power for our current set up. Our kit runs a small bar fridge, indoor and outdoor lights, small devices charging, and a bathroom fan (not sure how much use the fan actually gets). It is set up on our glamping hut accommodation, I check daily the usage and the batteries are always sitting at 100%. So happy to have an extremely reliable set up which gives our guests power throughout the numerous power cuts we get."
