Solar Package: GridFree Tiny House Pro
After living in a large home with significant power bills, Ali was ready to downsize and explore a more independent way of living. The idea of generating her own electricity and having greater control over her energy use was a big part of the appeal.
"I wanted to be somewhere rural with my horse!" Ali explains. "I came from a massive six-bedroom home which cost us a fortune in power. I was excited to try this and be independent from needing anyone."
Making the move to off-grid living
Ali purchased her tiny home from Elite Tiny Homes and chose a GridFree Tiny House Pro Solar System to power her new lifestyle.
The Tiny House Pro is designed to provide a practical off-grid power solution for tiny homes, with the flexibility to expand as energy needs change over time.
With her new home set up in Riverhead, Ali is now enjoying the experience of generating and managing her own electricity.
It's still early days, but one thing has already changed: her awareness of how much power she uses.
"It's making me be super aware of my power usage. It's awesome having my little home lit up."
And sometimes, that's one of the first things you notice when making the move to off-grid living. You become more conscious of your energy use and start appreciating the little things in a whole new way.
A big shout-out to Sally, Dan, and the talented team at Elite Tiny Homes for putting together the video above showcasing Ali's solar setup. It's always great to see the finished result and how our customers use their systems.
A little home with a lot of independence
For Ali, this journey is still just beginning. While she enjoys her new beautiful tiny home, she's also getting to know her solar system, learning how to make the most of the available energy and enjoying the independence that comes with generating her own power.
So far, her experience with GridFree has been a great one.
"Amazing service so far. Great app. Keen to learn more about using it well!"
We're stoked to hear that, Ali! We look forward to seeing how your off-grid journey unfolds.
