I could not be happier with the kit. Its been up and running for a few months now without a glitch.
Installation was easy, the only issues really being miscalculating cable length and that an iron roof gets hot in the sun!

Super happy with the grid free kit
Had it installed in our new forest cabin @puketui
Haven’t had the chance to really test it but it was so cost effective compared to the previous system we installed in our other cabin!

Going well no issues to date

We are based in the Bay of Plenty and are very happy with our kit. We have the setup with two pods and the system runs all of our necessary items. 1 x fridge/freezer, 1 x freezer, laptops, phones, Led lighting (we tend to use solar lights as that’s what we got used to doing before kit was set up), boil a jug when suns out, tool batteries and toaster on occasion. We researched a lot before coming to the decision to buy the Bach kit but was one of the first we came across. We found it easy enough to install with great instructions. We have the lithium batteries which are great and they are charged to 100% on a good day by 10am. With all the terrible weather we have only used the generator to charge once but this was more out of interest than necessity. Would highly recommend this if any of the other Grid Free store systems. Our next test will be a winter so we will see how that goes but are confident we made the right choice for us. Our household is two adults and two fur kids.

The kit is working well for us. We had a few teething issues with panel location early on but since sorting that we have had no issues. There have been times through winter when I wish we had got the hybrid inverter to enable battery top up after a few dark days. Otherwise very happy. So much so that I will be buying another kit from you soon to power a small workshop. I will be getting the hybrid inverter for this one though!

Hi this is our off grid cabin on 2acres of native bush in Tongariro. It’s 3 shipping containers. I’m very happy with the grid free kit. It easily runs a fridge, lights, waterpump, power tools etc. I run my welder off the generator. Gas heats the water and runs the stove. We still have lots to do on the property and are constantly improving it as time allows but it’s a great getaway from the ever busier Taupō town as it is now.

I am currently installing the Freedom kit. It's going great so far. Very clear instructions.

Its great, more power than we can use. I recommend you guys to a lot of people going down the off grid road.

Unbelievable can stay of grid for over a week

Here we are in our slice of paradise! Solar system is going great and when we needed some help your team were there.

We are full time in @honu_nz (insta). We love our kit. There is SO much power! We run all of our lights and a full fridge / freezer, a toaster, fan (usb), extractor fan (bathroom), and computers periodically. We do not have a tv, so use usb / mains plug for fast charging for phones and power banks etc. We have had zero issues since the initial faulty controller was switched out by you guys last year. We are on the road for the whole summer and the kit is fantastic. Cheers!!

The kit is running 5 LED lights, 4 powerpoints and at the moment a fridge freezer, a honey extractor and power tools to finish off the inside furnishings of the honey house. It's fantastic as it still charges the batteries even on those cloudy and rainy days we have had/ have in Gisborne. I love the solar charge controller as it tells me all I need to know straight away. Connecting the kit was super easy- great instruction booklet.

Our kit was bought as an "independent from grid" backup as we seem to have increasing numbers of power outages during the year at our semi-rural home. We are currently running our fridge, chest freezer and internet 24/7 and other appliances as needed from strategically placed 3-pin wall sockets. Only the oven and water cylinder are on the grid now with capacity to switch lighting circuits over during power outages being schemed with a local electrical engineer! We love our Gridfree system as the peace of mind is comforting. The easy install instructions were a doddle too. Thanks Gridfree!

It's going great!

Have a weekender kit and a bach kit. Installed the bach kit over the holiday break, great instructions and easy to follow. the weekender has been amazing, easily powers our tiny home.
