Can I Install My Off Grid Solar Power System?
Anything up to 120V DC, you can DIY if you feel comfortable doing it. You will legally need an electrician to install 240V AC - with our kits, that only applies if you're installing a hybrid inverter, or installing some of the bigger GridFree kits with their greater string of panels.
240V AC covers anything coming out of the inverter - so wiring it into your household switchboard. Everything up to the that is able to be done DIY - you'll see full details for what you can install on each kit page. If you're not comfortable doing all or some part of the install, you can also hand off the instructions to an electrician! They can do the whole thing, or just wire in the cables after you mount everything.
