Our Third Annual Solar Kit Giveaway is Back!
To celebrate and give back to our amazing off-grid community, we want to install a free off-grid solar power kit for someone who really needs it. Here's your chance to nominate yourself (or someone else) to win a GridFree Solar Kit!
At the start of last 2023, we asked our customers to send in their best pictures of their GridFree life. We had loads of awesome responses and it was really hard to pick just 10 winners - but here they are!

Two awesome solar dwellings - one on Great Barrier
Louisa's Office and Bach
The Barrier bach, known locally as The Glass House, was quite the different mission with the only realistic option a helicopter drop. I’ve got footage of that if you’re keen to see it. The solar kit was dropped on the property (not literally!) along with other building materials. It’s still a work in progress but what an incredible spot.
The first kit was on my off-grid office in South Head, talk about the perfect mini project to test his skills before making the leap to the bigger kit on Aotea Great Barrier Island. I love love love my office and knowing that I’m using sustainable energy just lights up my heart.
